It's been nearly a month since I last updated and I don't know how that happened! I haven't had very much going on but I thought I'd give a little update on what's going on with my life.
I've been making a little progress with sewing. I recently completed sewing a purse. It's not the greatest, but I'm pretty proud of it. I also picked up a dress pattern the other day so pretty soon I'll start working on that.
My gardening has been going pretty good. I got a couple of mine 'greenhouses' at Target a couple weeks ago and started growing basil, cilantro, and chives. The basil and chives are doing great so far..and I'm not quite sure what the cilantro is doing. I'll probably be moving them into bigger containers soon. I'm afraid to move them outside just yet because of how damn hot it is right now. As I'm writing this it's 99 degrees out. Ew.
Other than that we've mostly been staying at home, working, and trying to save money. We did go out last weekend with Gabriel and a friend. Although the night was cut short it was still pretty fun. We also spent Saturday afternoon with Adrian's mom for Mother's Day. I was definitely missing my mom. It sucks not being able to be around my family on holidays.
I'm going to try and get back into the swing of things on this blog. I've got a few post ideas written down and I'll try to get those up this week. Have a great weekend!
