I absolutely love the mountains here. They're definitely one of my favorite things about the place where I live. Every time we're driving somewhere in the car I can't help but stare at them and the whole time we were hiking at Lake Arrowhead I kept getting distracted and trying to take a million pictures of them. Of course, there were mountains where i'm from in VA/MD, but it's definitely not the same (to me) seeing them against a clear blue sky or in the background of a sprawling desert. It's magical.
